Artist's Profile

I am an illustrator living with my husband in a village just west of Cardiff.

I have been illustrating children's books and greeting cards for more years than I am prepared to admit! I first heard of Flamingo (formerly Phoenix Trading) on the first day of a 'Return to Practice' nursing course in 2003 (I've done a few jobs in my time!). I got in touch and, over the past ten years, I have had the good fortune to have had many of my designs turned into greeting cards. Now retired from nursing, I am able to devote all my time to illustrating, which I love. Although I do quite a bit of work for the children's educational book market, I'm happiest when thinking up ideas for Phoenix. I love the fact that I can give free rei¬n to my imagination!
